I’m planning to kill the winter annual grasses in my back yard, which have prickly seed heads that are unpleasant to walk past, and sow awnless winter wheat in its place. 
Right now, I only have Georgia Gore awnless winter wheat. I wouldn’t mind adding more diversity, but I don’t mind having only one variety, as long as it does reasonably well and fills the same ecological niche with something I find nifty.
