# Cornuts Landrace aka Maiz Cancha (Zea mays var. arachis?)

Those bags of corn look untoasted to me.

Popcorn requires a very particular phenotype. Optimum seed size for popping might be around 5 mm. Corn larger than that tends to pop as old grannies.

I really love how sweetcorn turns out when toasted.
