I like that idea. Capturing a swarm as a parent population in order to propagate many more for food production seems like a reasonable way to do things! (Especially if the parent population will be likely to stay because their home is so comfortable.)

I just saw a news report that hundreds of millions of bees have died off in the last few months for unknown reason(s). Sounds pretty bleak, I wonder if the disappearance of that large hive I was watching is related.
Wow. That’s so sad! I wonder if there’s some kind of new pesticide on the market that’s been unnoticed by people outside of the agribusiness sector, or something. Very sad, indeed.
