Is the misshapen melon a watermelon?
I grew the Art Combs watermelons and they were some of the best performers through drought/heat and they grow with a ‘crook-neck’ shape. They were also great flavored!
No, it’s a cantaloupe of some kind. I have some of the Art Crombe seeds and yes, they do very well.
My watermelons this year got smothered in weeds when I wasn’t able to care for them for a few weeks. No survivors.
