Ugh, its still gonna be 110 degrees again…wehave never had this heat in September before, and Ive lived here over 3 decades. I have a few squash, snap peas, kale and green beans holding on. I do irrigate, we didnt get any rain accumulation since February 2024.
I’itois onions and some strong garlic chives that survived the summer and ate going to seed. When it cool off to 100 degtees in about 8 days, I’ll sow seeds again. GTS fava, chives, garbonzo, my bush bean swarm, more kale, lettuce, carrots, herbs, snow peas, calendula, and whatever else I can fit in the garden.
