I think we need to improve the shipping system. It’s too expensive right now.
If I have to send a letter (under 50 grams) within Spain, it costs me 1€. If you send the same letter to me from France, it costs you 18€. I think the logical thing to do is having local hubs where we can distribute seeds. I wouldn’t mind to send seeds to my neighbours if they pay for the delivery.
When I decided to make my radish grex, I invested almost 35€ in seeds, including shipping costs, buying all different varieties I could find in a retailer. Paying 20€ for a grex ready to use might seem expensive, unless we account the real costs of gathering different varieties and sorting by viability. Still, it looks like a barrier for entrance.
