The Landrace Gardening methods are much easier to implement by people who aren’t dependent on customers that are used to named varieties and visual uniformity. Almost all of the people who have taken the course and are in this community are people growing for their own consumption. But our goal is to eventually expand and to be able to support growers producing food commercially, and to support them in various ways.
Are you growing for restaurants, farmers markets, or wholesale markets? We’d love to hear from you. What are your concerns? Have you succeeded in convincing your customers to value produce that looks different? What are you production concerns?
