Chris Smith of the Utopian Seed Project, will be joined by 2 or 3 southeastern farmers who are participating in a multi-year Southern SARE funded project to explore the challenges and opportunities of growing and marketing genetically diverse seed mixes.
We’ll talk about farmer experiences that focus on both the field-based and market-facing aspects of diverse crops.
We’ll highlight successes, challenges, and hopes for the next growing season.
