“Giving Seeds a Voice” a video interview series

I’m posting this announcement for my friend Kyle of Organic Seed Savers, a 501(c)(3) in Oregon. This is a really important, generous project he’s taking on, and I hope you consider joining him for an interview!

“Giving Seeds a Voice” a video interview series.

This is a new ongoing project through Organic Seed Savers where Kyle will be interviewing seed savers, gardeners, farmers, community leaders, teachers, elders, and land stewards, anyone carrying real knowledge and lived experience with seeds.

The goal is simple and powerful:

  • document seed wisdom before it’s lost
  • honor the people doing the work
  • share practical skills + deeper stories
  • and help strengthen seed sovereignty and community resilience

I’ve built a set of 13 deep, thoughtful questions that explore everything from:

  • how you got into seed saving
  • what you’ve learned the hard way
  • what seeds mean in your life and lineage
  • what you want the next generation to carry forward
  • and what the seeds might be “saying” in these times

Call to action :red_exclamation_mark::red_exclamation_mark::red_exclamation_mark::red_exclamation_mark:

If you’re a seed saver or you know someone who should be heard, I want to interview you!

You don’t have to be famous. You don’t need a perfect farm. If you’re genuinely doing the work, your story matters.

Contact Kyle if you want to be part of this.

Include:

  1. where you’re located
  2. what you grow / save
  3. what you’d want to share with the world

Let’s give this knowledge a voice.
Let’s keep the good seed mission alive, together!

Happy organic gardening and seed saving y’all!
