I’m paying much closer attention to my Stellaria media (chickweed) now that it has self-sown with increased year over year vigor going on year 3, in Minneapolis 5a. Anybody else working on Stellaria spp?
(Not sure if I’m using the “category” correctly)
I used to treat chickweed and chamomile like novelties in the Upper Midwest. Then I moved to the PNW and discovered they are weeds out here. Chickweed shows up. Adds a nice weed blanket. I pull it en masse and feed it to my chickens and eat the eggs.
