I ruined my appetite

I went out to see if I could find something to put in an omelet or stir fry and came across some pea pods. Not sure if they were the eat pod kind or the shell kind but I tasted one and it was good, so I ate several more. Then there was bit of broccol-ish that was still crisp and not bloomed out, so I ate some of it with some radish tops. Then I found some lettuce and wrapped it around some carrot leaves and spring garlic leaves with a little bit of dill, kind of a burrito type thing I reckon. Then I found some of those round flower balls on top of some onions that hadn’t opened up yet and put them and some arugula in some more burrito like things with a little bit of thyme. Then I noticed some red things over in the strawberry patch, so I ate about a quart of them.

Now I’m not hungry

(Giggles.) That’s a great way to eat!

I absolutely love this! This, I think, is why we garden, yes? At least, the way to my heart is through my stomach and taste buds.

I agree. Harvesting and tasting my harvest is my favorite thing about gardening!

You really should eat dinner before you eat dessert. :grinning:
