It's no joke!

We’ve had a really, really, REALLY wet and cold winter this year. As in, it was the wettest winter we’ve had in 100 years – and the coldest winter we’ve had in 40 years – and the longest winter we’ve had in at least 20 years.

Seven days ago, we had a massive blizzard.

Yesterday, my husband had to turn off the heater and turn on the fans and start opening doors at night because it was blazingly hot outside.

My husband: “We completely skipped spring!”
Me: “No, we had spring. It was on Saturday. It was a very nice day.”
Ben: “Good point.”

It’s no joke!

That’s funny!

It is similar here in Denver. After a March and early April that were much colder than normal, we’re now setting daily heat records and a record for the earliest 85 degrees ever recorded here.

All most all the trees are still bare, and seeds have just been sitting in the ground unhappily. Now everything will explode, but we could still get cold again.
