Things have really taken off!

Here is under the tarp today. 34 days tarped. Looks like the grass has been well killed off and the hills of worm castings are promising.

Compost pile is coming along. The grass clippings and rabbit bedding/manure are adding up faster than I had expected it to.

Mulched the front flowers lightly with the rabbit bedding. They don’t seem totally happy but I think it’s the soil. There is remnants of gross red dyed mulch and the soil is reddish from it. And the soil right in the bed is more clay like. Even two inches into the grass it’s not very clay like.
Getting some fertility added here is on the list.

None yet of…
Peppers- Greg’s Hungarian, king of the north
Tomatoes- Coyote, dw Geranium kiss
Yarrow or Moringa
Lettuce may queen, tom thumb, little gem
The marigold are coming up unevenly, one pot has some sprouts but there are several more pots with no sprouts yet.

14 green beans out of I think 58 planted. But those are old seed so I’m not surprised they’re coming up unevenly. Looks like some more might be coming up still. That’s ok because my SO was like wait, how many did you plant?! :joy:

The watermelons are almost all up. Leelanau sweetglo the cotyledons are bright green to yellow. Nothing else is off color so not sure if they are just like that or are being babies.

Black hollyhock are coming up. The rose of sharon hibiscus isn’t up yet.

Lofthouse sw pepper, just popping up.

Got my tiller home. The right side tire is continually flat and idk why. When I it the tire was flat and dad put a new one on for me. No idea. Gonna have a friend look at it.
Then if it could hold off on the rain for a bit so I can do a pass of the garden would be great.
