Landrace grow out Northern IL Tom, swt pep, cukes

I had great germination with all the seed.

I planted sweet peppers 3 per cell, almost all grew successfully. I potted them up the same way into 4in pots and will plant into the garden the same. Hoping this will help more with natural crosses. I will not have time to hand pollinate things.

Cucumbers were planted many per cell in 4 in pots and all have come up.

Tomatoes were planted 2 seeds per cell and most came up the same way. I transplanted into larger pots, and will plant that way while Florida weaving them for ease of care as all of these plants will be in my second 2500 sq ft garden with melons, squash, swt corn and popcorn.

This garden space won’t be watered, is butted up along a farm field. I’m hoping to try and create some natural resistance to herbicide drift in the years to come along with disease resistance as it is very humid and hot here in the summer.

I’ve attached photos of them at this point below. They will be planted out in the next two weeks or so.
