More Grexes / Mixes in our Seed Catalog for 2026

Hey Folks,

Our family just refreshed our seed catalog, for our second season since first coming online in January 2025. This is our one year anniversary!

A primary focus is perennials, but adaptation gardening has had a huge influence on our being excited about specializing in grexes and mixes too. We’ve added even more exciting mixes and grexes into our seed catalog this season and will likely add a few more in the coming seasons.

This post is a shameless plug, but more than that I’d love to invite feedback about what we’re doing. Many of our grexes/mixes are absolutely works in progress and released as “in development”. Some of them are only one season into seed saving and selection, others are several seasons in or more. I think there is lots of value for gardeners as well as small scale breeders.

My enthusiasm for adaptation gardening rubbed off on my sweetheart, Ann, a few seasons ago and she got the bug in her flower growing. You’ll also find unique flower mixes and grexes in our offerings as well.

Adaptation gardening is so fun and really opened possibilities for our family business, giving us confidence in offering genetically diverse seeds from lower populations than a typical farmer may collect seeds from. We are a very small scale, part time operation.

We’re trying to be transparent in the variety descriptions about what to expect in each grex/mix. I’d love anyone’s feedback there too: Should we be more transparent about sources, selection criteria, etc?

We’re trying to appeal to both the casual gardeners who want to try something new, beautiful and fun, as well as the enthusiasts who already have lots of knowledge and really get the value of genetic diversity.

p.s. If you love what we’re doing, please consider sharing with friends and colleagues, we can use all the exposure we can get!

With gratitude for this beautiful community,

Noel
