I’m planning on sowing a mix of these Aquadulce Claudia, Bunyards Exhibition, Witkiem, Karmazyn, Sutton Dwarf and Luz De Otono in a 1m by 2m bed, quite heavy clay. Probably 40-50 seeds direct sown. Hopefully within the week. I figured I’d get the mix ready and then I’ve got no excuses 
The question is presoak or not?

personally how I decide to soak or not is on the upcoming weather, if there is no rain coming I would presoak if there is rain coming no need especially in heavy clay soil. I may also presoak if the seeds are more than two years old as that can help with germination rate! Look forward to seeing how it grows!

Theoretically, many of those differences will first show in the F2 generation (the generation after next year), so do not be disappointed if they dont
