Ok folks here is where I am with my further Fava bean adventures. Yesterday I planted about 80 or so of our Windsor bean seeds (2023) in a row of un manicured richness.
All I did was scrape the mulch from last years cover crops (mustard, Chidham wheat, wasabi radish, misc sunflowers) scraped a little more into the soil and covered then watered.
A low input activity to which I eagerly await the results.
I realize the image doesn’t look like much but I plan on tracking the progress through the year.
