New Seed Saving Online Courses roundup article

I’m excited to share that I’ve just posted an article listing a variety of online seed saving courses and classes intended for gardeners, that I am most excited about, or that I think are high quality. I’ve taken a few of them, and disclaimer, my own seed saving course is listed here as well.

I’ve included the Adaptation Gardening course and mention of the Landrace Gardening book in this article, since it was pivotal to my seed saving journey and education!

I think this kind of reference/resource is needed, but I’d love to hear what you all think? Is this helpful?

Did I miss any quality online seed saving courses in this list? Let me know here or in the article comments so others outside of our community can benefit too.

If you find this article helpful, it would make my day if you shared it with your networks!

With gratitude,

Looks like a fantastic job you’ve done!

Please, as I am not finding it in your directory, take a look at Films | Diyseeds which to me - even if I haven’t looked into all your ressources yet - is for me for a couple years the best ressource on the Internet, available in 10 languages for free, and available on DVD.

It’s video contents: very precise and kept simple. You’ll have guidelines for each species.

I have to add that it’s all about “keeping pure” the varieties, so technical tips -for ex isolation distances during the season - are to be understood in that paradigma. The seed saving tips remain relevant to me.

Great list! Here’s another one that might be of interest to farmers in the group: Organic Vegetable Seed Production Course - Canadian Organic Growers

Thomas, wow thank you for sharing! I hadn’t come across this website before. At first glance it looks incredible useful, especially as a free resource. I’m looking forward to dig in and watch some of the videos when I get a chance. Wonderful!

Nice one Rebecca! Yes, my article was aimed to gardeners, not farmers. Even still I am considering doing a similar article for seed saving courses for farmers, which I’ve also been collecting. This one was not on my list either and I appreciate you sharing!
