Oenothera speciosa with Red Leaves

I have a Pink Evening Primrose, Oenothera speciosa, that is growing with all red leaves.
I know they usually get some nice purple/red coloring in the fall when temps drop but I’ve never noticed any having this much solid red, especially at this time of year.
I’m thinking about trying to dig it out or take a cutting and see if it can survive and grow.
I haven’t found much information relating to this in Oenothera speciosa. I assume this is a genetic mutation, possibly causing some kind of deficiency. My guess is it likely will struggle or die, but if it can grow as a healthy plant I think it would be a very cool ornamental selection. It seems to be growing as well as all the others around it.
