Pink/purple/blue flour corn

I have a 4H kid, in middle school, who’s super interested in growing better food as it relates to making things tasty in the kitchen! She wants to grow a “pretty” selection of pink, purple and blue flour corn to make a more complex, interesting tasting corn bread. She started with 23 types of corn earlier this year, and so far, so good! She plans to select for taste and drought tolerance.

Awesome! Will she also select for great popping too? As most Cornnut varieties of Corn are simply Flour Corns. Might be nice to get both good flour & popping at the same time, although All Corn Pops regardless of the type. So Far I love the diversity fo colors!
