summary: Creating shared labels for seed origin + coordinated awareness campaign to build demand for regionally grown seeds. Goal is to make seed sourcing visible so more people understand why it matters and actually seek out regionally adapted varieties.

(is not about diverse mixes specifically, but of course that will be part of making seed saving more accessible, and populations more adaptable).

Do we know how the “regional” breakdown will look? Will it me based on location, climate, growing practices, etc. ?

Do we know what the symbols will be?

I think having a way to differentiate between generations within the regional breakdown would be nice. There is a big difference between the 1st generation grown seeds and seeds that have been grown somewhere or some way for multiple generations.

Regional breakdown and label design happens in the next phase. I think it’s a great idea to include something for #s of generations.
