Do you have any interest in Canna seeds? I have about 5 lbs I could contribute.

There are at least a few of us here with Canna breeding projects. I would be interested in some.
Are these from ornamental varieties? Crop varieties? Are they cold hardy or are you lifting them in winter?
These are mostly from what were probably Cannova ornamental Cannas but some other random ones mixed in as well. I have some seeds from a patch growing in 6b Chicago that was left in the ground over winter multiple years in a row at least, likely in a bit of a microclimate though. I collected all of these while driving around over a couple of years. I’m hoping to really get my own breeding going next year but just have more seeds than I need.

I would definitely be interested in those, I have been working on a cold hardy mix focusing on improved edible roots.
I have some from zones 6/7a. Some are from Kentucky and some from N. Carolina, along with a few others mixed in.
I would be happy to trade some seeds if you’re interested.
