We just ended a lovely, fun zoom call. Laid back, open mics conversation. We people showed off their gardens a bit, asked a question they had about something they’re currently dealing with or about to decide on, etc. Everyone was able to pop in with comments, questions, feedback, their personal experience,…

Would you like more zoom calls like that? I loved it, and everyone found it very intriguing and thought provoking to see how gardens were going in other zones and even other hemispheres.

Would you like more zooms where we focus on a single topic or species? Let us know!

For example:

I would love to know what I’ve gotta do to get carrots to grow?! Ritual offering? :joy: I’m thinking on getting some sand to lightly layer over the soil to gently cover the seeds, and buffer the soil so that it doesn’t harden when it dries, and I’m assuming keeping all my seeds from coming up.

It really was fun! Like taking a walk in several people’s gardens from different parts of the country/world, and all in one hour! I saw a few cool things that I want to try!

Yes, I’m sad to miss such calls. But evenings are hard to make these things happen. Oh well.

Yes, it was an interesting and fun Zoom call / chat meeting of the garden minds. Next time I will take some notes during the meeting as I might have a few tips that could help other gardeners. Unfortunately I don’t have Internet where I live and garden so I can’t really show my own garden, but I might be able to share a few pictures at some point in time.
