Super interesting. Thanks for this post. Some of mine seemed like they wanted to go to seed too! Thought I was seeing things. I looked into it and it said that people think they are but that’s not it. I swore they were bulking up at the base though. Glad to see this! Definitely will have to keep an eye out. Ones that were crowded, south facing, lots of bulbils, they were the ones that started flowering. Other side of the house grew shallot sized bulbs with no flowering.
