Zuchetta landrace: Very long-necked unripe moschata (tromboncino-type)

… What makes a good and thoughtful selection over decades! Up to three female flowers on some nodes!

“Courgette” Longue de Nice (zucchini-type). Photo taken couple days ago while harvesting at @Bruno. Note this is a strain traditionally harvested every day, or so, when the female flowers blossoms, i.e. this strain has been selected not only for loads loads loads of female flowers (about one per node in average, and with short internodes), but also selected for gigantic ovarys, as you can see on picture those haven’t blossomed yet, flowers are still closed! Up to 80kilos/day on a 1000 square meter plot. Firmer, better than usual zucchinis. Cuc.Moschata.

I wish I was in Europe so I could join in on this project! I’ve been growing rampicante for the past several years and they are probably one of my favorite things to grow. I would love to cultivate a diverse mix. Is anyone in the US working on this already? Or does anyone want to? If so I would love to collaborate.
