Update from our end: I’ve met to talk with our group in Denmark (Vivi and Christina - Søren is helping on the side too). Our rough idea is hosting a full-day event at the Copenhagen Hospitality College (CHC) that would bring together people from both field and kitchen. I’ve forwarded our invitation to Joseph and waiting for his response.

Just to reply quickly: we had a visio meeting yesterday with Joseph and Julia who are both coming to Antibes, Julia’s going to the Terra Madre festival (slow food fest) the week-end before in Torino and has to go back to the US just after Antibes.
First wish of Joseph is to be visiting Denmark, and your “very supporting community”. Then he said that he would be “very flexible” and confirmed that he could stay up to one month in Europe.
Then these could be the other great options : Ireland (Kevin @seedsaver), South Scotland (@Marianne), Croatia (@mare.silba and @marcela_v).
Then the super super excellent news is that some generous donation occured so that our crowd funding will only be related to Joseph’s travel and accomodation costs within Europe, i.e. this donation covers both US-EU-US travels of Julia and Joseph!!! Champagne!!! 
Then, we have been talking about the idea that Going to Seed could host the crowd funding. It is been studied right now. It could simplify things a bit.
Later in the evening I will make a proposal of agenda of this meeting, which should be under 1h30 I believe. Once again it will be a joint meeting with some french farmers, some of them directly involved in the coordination of the international meeting. For those who haven’t please listen to what Maxime said in previous meeting (video links above), as he summarised many things, including the overall spirit, mindset of the event, but also things related to accomodation, costs.
Once again : hurry up for those willing to register. Registration will close down within 2 to 3 weeks. It is already a success!

This is great news. I have started looking into funding and talking to people here. We are attending the agriculture regeneration meeting “Go Falkland” (Scottish chapter of Groundswell) next week and hope to meet key people there to discuss how we can finance and host a visit by Joseph (and Julia?).
I’m not sure if I can attend on Thursday unfortunately but I will try to.

Jitsi needs no App, no Login, then works like Zoom, with similar features
something that I don’t think is clear in the program in general that I think needs to be explained:
all conferences and worshop are on similar time slots.

6 workshops on 1h15…it’s 6 workshops in different rooms where you have to choose the topics followed or 6 workkshop of ten minutes that follow each other in the same place?

Hi everyone, I am currently in the Pacific Northwest in the US on a Churchill Fellowship researching diversity in seed - https://adventuresinseedandsoil.substack.com/
Unfortunately I can’t attend tomorrow’s meeting as I will be on a farm tour, but I am registered for the LLD conference and will be attending, hopefully in affiliation with the UK Seed Sovereignty Programme. I will reach out to some people in the UK about hosting @Joseph_Lofthouse , he kindly spoke to my Crowd Breeding group a few months ago so I can see if anyone is able to host him. I am travelling here and in Canada until mid September, and I currently don’t know where I’ll be living when I return, otherwise I would offer! I would love to be kept updated with the plans, so I will try and login in here more often!
