Astronomy Domine sweet corn in a very small space

I plant a mix of corn in larger space in order to allow it to cross-pollinate, but in the same time I have just received a few seeds of the famous Astronomy Domine sweet corn and I would like to grow it separately once, to acquaint with this variety. My garden space is very limited, so I would like to ask, how many plants of this variety one can successfully grow on one square meter  I can spare one or two raised beds one square meter each and I wonder how many plants I can fit in there.

Check this thread, they planted super densely.

It seems like density that can be used and successfully get fruit/grain/veg is determined mostly by water availability and nutrient availability. If the spot has been topped off with compost and you get good rainfall or are watering during dry spells then you can probably go pretty tight. If it’s not so great soil, nothing added, and dry farmed with lower rainfall then you’ll probably need a wider density to get good yeild. From there it’s down to pest and disease pressure. I don’t know how much that will affect corn, my first thought is more like tomatoes and blight where more density and more humidity makes for more blight in general.

This thread talks about spacing corn- Let's talk about laying out corn and friends

Also keep in mind that the Hopi Indians plant all their corn in clumps so each clunp is high density. They farm in the three mesas. The average yearly rainfall is just over 6 inches (150mm). They have their own landraces of corn they grow and are not planting modern large Ag corn that is used to irrigation, sprays, and intense management practices.
