Cauliflower Grex

At the Seed Growers conference few weeks ago I overheard some cauliflower seed conversations. Basically there might be a lack of cauliflower seed available generally. And separately I brainstormed with a friend about a sprouting cauliflower grex and how that doesn’t exist that he knows of (brassica breeder).

Anyone growing a cauliflower grex? There’s been talk of orange cauliflower in the past, any luck @bramblewoodhill?

A sprouting cauliflower would definitely be a game changer. I’ve been curious about the F1s that have shown up in the last couple years, but not curious enough to risk CMS getting into my collard grex or rapa crosses.

Orange cauliflower made me think of the Cheddar variety. Lots of beautiful colors and shapes out there, but most of them seem to be hybrids.
