This week, I traveled near Vidalia, Georgia where the famous onion is from as well as a vicious rattlesnake around Glennville. I heard about the infamous course sand from this area that is very abrasive. I was intrigued so I did a little research. Whatever keywords I put into the search engine at that time and unique place led me to a geology book that had a lot of value to me. It is from the 1920’s and explained the nature of sand, silt and clay in ways of high practicality and down to earth. The link is above should anyone have interest in this free pdf book.
