Hello

I’ve just fill the framaform.

Thomas tells me that Hugo and Stephane will maybe share a car to go to Croatia, if there is some space in it, i would be interested to travel with you. Could you tell me if it will be possible ? I can join you where you want on the road, somewhere i can park my car.

(Maybe it’s not the right place to speak about that, just please tell me)

hi to everybody,

Here in 42 days the meeting will start and for this session Croatia which promises to be epic we will have international guests!

Since yesterday, all the prestigious external speakers have validated their interventions in video projection…one thing is sure it’s going to be incredible and they are eager to meet us !

the European community will have a great opportunity to exchange with all these specialists in order to, I hope, create even more ambitious projects in the future ! :smiley:

after a few internal exchanges during the week we will be able to announce the names to you then will come the programming schedule.

In the meantime, let’s play and guess who they are :grin:

speaker 1 : not very famous, but she is one of the leading experts on European seed legislation.

speaker 2 : He comes from a country that is also a continent, and he has selected vegetables that grow in arid climates.

speaker 3 : He comes from the same country of the speaker 2, he do permaculture in subtropical climat, he appears in famous videos for GTS with Joseph

speaker 4 : He comes from Cornell university, He works on plant selection for taste with chefs, and has created revolutionary varieties of peppers and squash.

speaker 5 : He is a man who created an incredible cluster of seed producers. He searches for the most unusual seeds.

speaker 6 : She created an incredible community around culinary and plant selection !

@marcela_v I got a friend (Reddouane) who is collecting and growing tens of fig trees from all over the world who asked me if I could bring back a few branch cuttings. To you know if there will be any on site? Or if we get a chance to see others around?

(It’s kind of a reminder for me too :joy:)

And thanks a billion time Marcela and @stephane_rave : you made that come true!!! I’m so happy with it right now! It’s a gift :blush:. Will be such a pleasure to meet up with everybody.

Also, when you send the whole programme, could you send us the list of attendees? The 15 of us, or so. Would be cool to know and organize a bit around who’se coming, notably in terms of exchanges.

Being in the US all October and going directly to Croatia, I won’t be bringing in any seeds. If you want me to absolutely bring something special, please PM me.

I would say, thank you to everyone ! :smiley: everyone participates or will participate on site in the realization of this event…

But thank you specialy to Marcela for the second consecutive year of having an event on her land… let’s support her for whom she arrives at the meeting not exhausted… and may she also enjoy these good moments that we will spend all together ! :star_struck:

now that everything seems to be in place, it’s time to make the announcements of the mystery guests who do us the great honor of offering us a little of their time for the Croatia meeting.

Given the great distances, the guests will be present by videoconference. Each one will present their theme of work which will be followed by questions and interactions with the members present.

All these people who do extraordinary work in their community are very happy to share this time with us and are eager to meet us. :folded_hands:

I hope that all the upcoming exchanges will lead our group towards fabulous projects in the future. :wink:

This is a really impressive line-up, I’m happily surprised and getting very excited to exchange with these people and continue the conversation with each other. You’ve given our community a great opportunity to grow and take the work to the next level! Several of the names on that list have been important sources of inspiration for my own direction. Looking forward to spend a week with you all and yes, let’s hear the participant list!

I can bring a speaker phone (Jabra Speak 2), by the way, so we can questions from around the table for our online speakers. Let me know if I should bring it.

here is the programming grid updated following the latest announcements and exchanges we had with Marcela.

Sunday is not quite settled yet but we will use this day to develop a project around the culinary universe and with all that we will have learned from great during a week…

and if you know a generous donor who could help us finance the evening meal on the day of the open door with all the local guests thank you for putting us in touch ! :smiley:

time passes quickly so let’s use these few days as best we can to prepare ourselves and increase the emulation :wink:

For that start preparing your respective interventions especially in the presentation of your garden or a project on the open day, by gathering your best photos, videos, slideshow…

Also we have a reputation as a seed pirates to be honored in Croatia so don’t forget to save your best seeds to bring them ! :grin:

Personnally flying back from the US at that point I’ll have zero seeds to share… could send them afterwards!

When are we gaving a collective zoom call with participant for everything related to the event ?

Yes I left, I’m in the awful smelly parisian subway right now… seeds will wait. Anyway I would have had watermelon only for now, and found not a minute for sending those ..
