Were about to be hit with unseasonably hot and constantly wet weather. Can I harvest pods when they’re beginning to yellow and expect viable seed? Or do I have to risk them rotting in the pod?

Harvesting early and bringing them inside is fine with peas. They’re a bit more resistant to rotting since they’re encased. Any green pods will be fine to leave on the plants. What I find to be not great is when the pods are dry and then it rains and they get wet. Usually that results in germination.
