Just looking through the option of creating a subgroup on the forum, apropos this thread. Now I can’t find the option to create groups or even see any existing groups. I know we have a European Seed Swap subgroup, but when I go to Going to Seed - which should give an overview of groups on the forum - I get no results.
Perhaps this has been the case all the time and all I need to do is ask an admin to create a group. Is that right?
I can create categories, so should be the groups or subgroups that you are looking for, and filter with permissions totally configurable.
What groups do you want to create?
My preference is go for simple layout.
Yes, it is disabled in the configuration. It can be activated, but it will appear groups already closed like past fundraising and other programs.
Ah, maybe I’m mixing up groups and categories. For example, the European Seed Swap is a group, right? At the same time, it can be browsed like a sub-category. Hm…
In practical effects it is all the same.
