Hi,
I have an issue with the website. When I read through a thread, and scroll down, it often just “jumps up”, and I re-read the same post. It is very annoying.
Anyone else has this issue? Any work around?

Hi John, I haven’t had this problem and haven’t heard about it yet, but found some suggestions for you to try:
Clear Cache and Cookies: Sometimes, cache and cookies interfere with smooth browsing. Clearing these can help reset how the page loads.
Check for Browser Extensions: Certain extensions (especially those related to ad-blocking or content scripts) might conflict with Discourse’s infinite scroll functionality. Temporarily disabling them can help identify if one of them is the culprit.
Adjust Browser or Device Settings: Try switching to a different browser (like Chrome, Firefox, or Safari) to see if the issue persists. You can also check for updates, as older versions may be less compatible with certain site functionalities.
Use Discourse’s “Mobile View”: If you’re on a desktop, Discourse’s mobile view sometimes provides a simpler, glitch-free experience. You can switch to this by resizing your browser window to mobile dimensions or selecting the mobile view from your browser’s developer tools.
Thanks Julia for the tips, I’ll see if after the update it works smoother. Haven’t looked into it yet. Adblocker might be anissue, but I am unwilling to disable it…
