Yeah, I don’t think it’s clear that the official seed collections are confined to the USA, might want to make it clear.

I filled out the survey as well, and didn’t notice any mention of only restricting to the US. Seems like a great idea for those of us in Europe to also pursue if this is the case?

A Going to Seed - Europe collection?

We’re not enough as of yet.

We would like to know what you are looking for in our mixes, but, yes, there are many obstacles to operating in the EU. I added a location question to help us sort the data. Feel free to go back and update your response and answer this question, but no worries if you do not.

I am also from eu. Maybe when we are more maybe we can do something like that.

I will put a summary here so that what I have put is not lost.

My preferences are related to my context. Dry farming or low watering. Pest resistant, worms, mildew.

With specialized seeds I think is very difficult to assess if that seeds will grow in my context, a plant resistant to cold can work wonders in my hot garden, you never know, so I do not want biased seeds.

I will go with characteristics. Sweet peppers, flour corn, different interior color melon (white, yellow, green), long lasting melons, long lasting tomatoes. But for me I still want the other genetic, like hot peepers or grain corn. So I want kind of separated but i will plant all that genetic in my gardens.
