Here is one thread to share about interesting Seed Swaps around Europe we know about or will hear about in the upcoming months.
As we talked in our meeting last night, it would be good to share info about seed exchanges so we can also go as a GTS team or self-organize to visit some events outside our countries. 
One of the most famous events is in Greece by Peliti.
Location: Municipality of Paranesti
Usually happens one week after Orthodox Easter, which will be the same week like the Catholic in 2025. So it should be 27-28 April.
Ryanair has a good connection to Thessaloniki which is the closest airport

There was also a visit to Fabrizio’s farm and the community seed bank/potato museum of Consorzio della Quarantina during the field trips for the Antibes meeting I believe… I’ve met Fabrizio last summer and he is super dedicated. This could be interesting for ppl who are into Potatoes and growing Potatoes from seeds.

Two regional seed-swap events in April 2026:
◇ April 18 - 26th Peliti Seed Festival in Paranesti municipality, Northern Greece. Exact location here.
What to expect? Extremely crowded event, big queue and long waiting time at entrance. Limited seed packages allowed to take away - 5 per person, but you could double it, if you don’t mind to spend time on queue for another turn. If you have interestng seeds for swap or a big charming smile then all limitation break down. Big communication barrier, as most people don’t speak any English. Some nice side events. Very beautiful rural area near Mesta river. Nice accommodation at site.
Who provides seeds? Peliti Seed Bank (the organizer) and very few local gardeners. Bulgarian Independent Seed Bank is traditionally represented. Few individuals from abroad occasonally appear to swap seeds.
What is offered? Many seeds (mostly local varieties, few nice rarities, no mixes, not so big divercity), some seedlings. Info on the labels only in Greek.

◇ April 25 - 14th Independent Seed Festival in Elin Pelin municipality, Bulgaria. Exact location here.
What to expect? A bit crowded at the beginning of the day. Generally no limitation of seed packages allowed to take away. No admition, but donations are expected. Most people speak English or at least always somebody around to help with translation. Nice side events with music and presentations (Adaptation gardering presentation is in the programme for this year’s edition). Nice location half an hour away from capital by public transport.
Who provides seeds? Local Independent Seed Bank (the organizer), another community seed bank(s), few gardeners and me 
Individuals from abroad appear from time to time. Peliti-Greece and Kokopelli-France send seeds occasionally.
What is offered? A lot of seeds (mainly local traditional varieties, some rarities, exotic varieties from around the world and some real grexes will appear for the first time this year), some seedlings, few saplings. Lack of info on the labels.
