I’ve grown these potato’s from @polarca tps and from potatos she sent that she bred. It didn’t go super, but I’ve got something to work with going forward. Luckily cause I love the color of the flesh. They must be very healthy.
But they have these holes in some of them. Then they spoil and get mushy and smell dreadful.
They seem to get it in one place specifically. Anybody know what causes it?

this year with rain we saw the courtilière (Gryllotalpa gryllotalpa) return.
It could come from that but your attacks are weak so I have a doubt, Courtillère make big attack like a mouse and is mostly in sandy soil. If they are present you should have found them by picking up the potatoes.
Thank you for putting the brain to work! Somebody saw one of those, but not me, for five years. So probably not.
