Hurricane Otis, and our Center of Origin course

If you haven’t, you should take the Center of Origin course free on our website. It’s probably cold or rainy where you are, long nights, I’m pretty sure you’re an introvert based on @anon14613632’s research, all perfect to dig into what’s more like a multi-media e-book, to find out some things about plants you’ve never heard before. And then you should make a donation to Marcos’ community in Guerrero! Read more about the devastation on the town and the crops in @stevelarson’s fundraiser.

I have a love/hate relationship with mornings.

I actually enjoy the morningtime and nearly everything that goes with it.

But I have a pretty severe form of a sleep disorder which causes my body to think it needs way more sleep than normal (how much it actually does need is really unclear, but not as much as it tries to get).

No matter how long I sleep, I do not ever remember waking up and feeling “rested” or like I’ve had enough, and I pretty universally feel worse when waking up than when I went to sleep.

The sleep disorder is a relatively rare one and isn’t well understood so most of the medications prescribed for it are just trying meds that sometimes work for other sleep issues and seeing if they help.

So actually getting up in the morning is a pretty rough experience, and some of my best mornings have honestly been after staying up all night (which can be hard since the sleep disorder also makes it easy for me to fall asleep unnecessarily ), but doing that too often leads to a bunch of other issues.

Being part neanderthal must be why this morning I got up at 2 am. That’s a little early even for me but also It’s great because zero people are texting or asking me for things for a few hours and I can focus  Also figured out I’m a ADHD hyperfocuser, maybe that’s neanderthal too.

How do you get to the course? I keep ending up back at the course page. I went through the ordering it part.
The thinkific part shows the tester, landrace, and microbes courses.

You should have it now in your Dashboard, sorry about that. Thinkific and Shopify haven’t been communicating well. Anyone else who’s tried and failed to get access, let me know (until we get it fixed).
