We had a nice meeting on Thursday with Stephane, Mare and Thomas. Based on the answers from everyone, the choice was easy. We are meeting the beginning of November, between 3rd and 9th. We haven’t set exact dates because we want to see which days would be the best based on travel options we have available.
Also based on the answers from the questionnaire, we are going to have 5 official days + travel, however you are also welcome to stay for 3 days if your job maybe isn’t flexible when it comes to traveling. It’s important that we have at least 10 people who are coming for the full five days so that we can plan budget for our venue and food preparation process.
Soon, we will send an official application form, it will be short and sweet, just to have all of our data in one place. And then the most exciting part starts - planning what we will do, what we would like to learn from each other… etc
It would be great to have a rough plan for the meeting before main gardening work starts in spring. Then we can work on it a bit in the summer because in autumn we have a lot of work with harvesting and collecting seeds.
Also more people are welcome to join. Firstly, we are giving priority to EU GTS members, but we will eventually open for other people outside of GTS and outside EU like from the UK if there will be interest.
Our next meeting is on March 13th at 20 CET, and we will touch the topic of the meeting, so please come if you would like to contribute.

I filled out that questionnaire. There was one part where we were to select if we prefer only GTO members or also local growers. I have no preference but was unable to deselect and give no answer. So please don’t pay attention to what I selected for that.

we received 5 new responses after the questionnaire closing date. We will of course take this into account except for the date that was chosen based on previous answers.
It’s amazing to see that English and even an American want to join us!
